Scratch Time V Now Up
It took a while, technical problems with movie maker, but Scratch Time V is now on youtube.
The blog post on how Scratch Time V was made is over on Wordpress.
There will be no Scratch Time VI this week as the annoying stress of working out the creases in V has left no time.
So anyway, here is the video for Scratch Time V, enjoi.

Scratch Time IV Now Up!
Right, I've been so ill this week, had to come home from work and pass out for a good few hours, coupled with a fairly busy weekend, I did not get to do the prep videos for Scratch Time IV as planned.
However, I did manage to upload a video to keep on top of my weekly promise.
I did use my new records, just a quick juggle based on first instincts with the tune.
I will make sure I do prep videos for a future Scratch Time video, might even be the next one, Scratch Time V, but we shall see.
Anyway, here it is, Scratch Time IV, from myself, lil-tee.

Strictly Wax has moved to Wordpress!
If you follow my Twitter, there's a small feed on the right -->
You may have noticed that I've been thinking of, and have moved to Wordpress. When I started up this Blog, I intended to use Wordpress, but couldn't work it out, I wanted to set up a lot of different social scapes very quickly, and Blogger was just easier at that time.
That's not to say I'm ditching Blogger altogether, I will duplicate post for a while, particularly with new videos, as I phase Blogger out, and it will be kept for random musings, that aren't necessarily relevant to DJing or Music.
I will miss Blogger, we've had some decent posts here :'(
The new blog can be found HERE.
The main reason I wanted to move was the greater choice and variation of themes available. At Blogger my Blog looks like anyone elses, whereas on Wordpress I have my own picture at the top, people will know it's different.

Scratch Time III
So, yesterday was Sunday, so I attempted to make a video. The past week I've been basking in the glory of my last video, Scratch Time II.
This week's video didn't go quite so well. I was interrupted while recording twice, and lost almost all motivation for it.
But, I have set a target to upload every week, and I made sure I stuck to it. I've had to copies of Usher - Make Love In This Club for almost a year, and haven't really gone very far with regards to juggling it.
This week, I thought "hmm, well I haven't bought new records this week, so I could use something that's been untouched for a while." This time Usher fitted the bill.
My beat juggling has advanced since I last picked that record up, so I was able to improvise and find something to do with it. I also realised that is was roughly the same BPM as a typical dubstep tune.
Out I dig Drumz West by Benga. It works well enough for me, so it goes in the video. So then when I cut out Usher, I do some random scratching over Drumz West. The standard of scratching was quite low this week, I was quite tired, and not quite in the mood for it.
But, you know, constructive criticism and all that, can't always be tip top, here's the video.
By the way, do you like my Barack Obama t-shirt? Made it myself while he was campaigning for President :)
